Paintball?

While Retto and Ralph continue with their rehab, Ashley has decided to try some things she has never done before.

She loved it and was last sighted looking at PB guns on the internet...Oh Boy!

Green acres is the place for me. Farm livin' is the life for me. Land spreadin' out so far and wide. Keep Manhattan, just give me that countryside.

Ashley spent her weekend in Ocala at a farm named Green Acres. She was studying for her HB. (ie ...next level) Phanny went with her and we left Retto home with his little pony pal. (Pics to follow)

After 3 weeks of lameness, icing, wrapping, walking, painting, poulticing, x-rays and ultrasound it has been determined that Retto has swelling in his tendon and by treating it to 1000 soundwaves 3 different times we can make him sound again. Ashley and I are learning alot about tendons and Retto is getting fat waiting for us to fix the problem for him. The great news is that there should be no scarring- meaning he can jump this high again which is what he loves to do.

Derby Day!

I took the kids to Tampa Bay Downs. We had a tour of the barns, learned some great things from a trainer there and ended up ahead in the betting. I asked them what famous horses had run there and they said "Street Sense."

Ashley went to her 8th grade dance on fri. night. She said the decorations were incredible and the dance was really fun. Next stop...HIGH SCHOOL! Wow how did that happen so fast?

Update on Ralph...HES TALKING!!!!!!!!

Rolex week was a very good week for Ralph. He gained the ability to speak and although his speech is coherant it is not necessarily relevant to his suroundings. He does speak full sentences but is still not able to respond directly to questions or demands. He is still making daily improvements in his speech and mobility.
