Homeschool...gotta love it!

I guess I had better explain. Andrew is writing a report on Erich Weiss AKA Harry Houdini. This prompted a test of his Houdini skills. He escaped from the double straight jacket but lets see how he handles the Chinese Water Torture. Updates to follow.

A little Austin News:

Just what every kid fears...mom with a camera at 6 am chasing you around the bedroom. He is such a tolerant person. I for one would have protested. Anyway point of harrassment was to acknowledge him for his 17 pts in the game against Deland last night.

Ashley spent her weekend at a clinic with other C3 candidates. They spent about 17 hours covering the knowledge section of the test. She got to know some really nice girls from other clubs around the state and was able to learn the standards from an actual C3 examiner. It was a great opportunity and she took full advantage of it.. You would not believe how exact these wraps need to be to pass inspection!!!
Here she is practicing the teaching portion of the test...

Wekiva Basin hogged the couch.

Brenda Yikes is from Georgia. She has been a clinician and examiner for many years. The girls enjoyed the way she was able to impart her wisdom in a relaxed yet precise way. Brenda's mother is one of the contributing authors for the US Pony Club manuals. Lets just say the region went to the source for these girls.

Tanner and Andrew have just enough time for a little 'air guitar' before tennis practice starts...

Ashley has been teaching riding now for almost 2 months. As part of the Pony Club program this is called 'giving back'. She loves it. She hopes to be ready to test for her C3 level by summer. Good luck Ashley!!!

I just want to know where the playground monitor was during all of this naughtiness.
